10 Best Website Builders for Travel Agencies (5 Are Free) [2025]

Kamso Oguejiofor Written by:
Last updated: April 28, 2025
Your travel agency needs a visually appealing website that makes visitors want to experience the adventures you offer. Ideally, travelers should also be able to book trips and tours on your website, and perhaps even pay online.

You’ll also need to consider that if your website doesn’t show up in online searches, you won’t get very far. But not all website builders offer SEO, social media, and marketing tools that will boost your site’s visibility. Some even lack basic booking features.

To help you make an informed decision, I’ve researched popular website builders and put together a list of the best options for different types of travel and tourism agencies. When it comes to website design, essential features, and useful business tools, I found Wix came out on top.

You can try Wix for free, or keep reading to find out which of these builders is best suited to your travel agency’s needs.

Short on Time? These Are the Best Website Builders for Travel Agencies in 2025

  • Wix Great selection of templates for travel websites, plus features and tools to match.
  • Squarespace Stunning templates with visual impact and excellent marketing tools.
  • Hostinger Website Builder Advanced AI tools to set up a functional travel agency website in a few minutes.

What We Look For in the Best Website Builders for Travel Agencies

While researching and testing website builders for travel and tour agencies, these are the features I focused on.
  • User-friendly design. All the website builders on this list are intuitive and easy to use. You won’t need technical skills to build a website that will draw visitors in – and once your site is live, it’s just as easy to update it with your latest travel destinations, deals, discounts, and blog posts.
  • Attractive, mobile-responsive templates. A poorly designed template makes for an unappealing travel site. Equally important are designs that are easy to navigate on all devices, including phones, tablets, and other devices.
  • Travel booking features. All the builders on this list offer booking systems that allow clients to check trip availability, reserve, and even pay online if you’ve added e-commerce functionality.
  • Must-have marketing tools. Every travel agency needs a website builder that supports their marketing strategy. These builders offer email marketing, newsletters, blogs, and other tools to help you promote your services and attract clients.
  • Multilingual support. I selected website builders that allow you to offer content in multiple languages, so that you can cater to clients from different regions and language backgrounds.

How We Picked the Best Website Builder for Travel Agencies

Here’s a breakdown of the key criteria I used during my evaluation:
  • Ease of use. I tested each platform to see if I could quickly and easily set up and manage a website.
  • Customer support. I evaluated the availability and quality of customer support, including live chat, email, and phone options.
  • Feature set. I examined each builder’s features, focusing on those particularly beneficial for travel agencies, such as booking systems, customizable templates, and SEO and marketing tools.
  • Performance and reliability. To retain visitors, each website builder should offer fast load times and minimal downtime.
  • Value for money. I compared pricing plans to determine which builders offer the best value, balancing cost with the features and benefits provided.

Bon Voyage Wix Theme
Wix’s appealing templates come with essential features for travel agencies
For travel agencies and tour companies eager to create a compelling online presence, Wix stands out as my top choice. Wix offers the largest selection of free templates for travel agencies, and its mobile-friendly designs come equipped with a multitude of features.

Wix’s intuitive interface and drag-and-drop editor make setting up and managing your site hassle-free. You can add dynamic photo galleries and videos to give potential customers enticing visuals of their prospective journeys. Wix also offers integrations with review platforms, allowing satisfied travelers to leave testimonials, which can enhance your firm’s trust and credibility.

While Wix offers a generous free plan. As your agency grows and diversifies its services, you’ll probably want to upgrade to a paid plan to get a custom domain, remove Wix branding, or branch into e-commerce with travel-related merchandise. Fortunately, Wix offers a range of well-priced plans to suit your firm’s changing needs. Its Light plan is the most cost-effective, offering 2 GB of storage, a free domain for 1 year, and basic marketing tools, all for $17.00/month.

And if you don’t like any of the options provided, Hostinger’s AI website builder can quickly create a niche travel agency website for you in a few minutes.

I like how Hostinger provides a robust online booking system for organizing bookings and reservations. It includes features such as setting availability, managing time slots to avoid double bookings, and integrating payment gateways like PayPal and Stripe for smooth transactions.

Powered by advanced AI technology, Hostinger’s AI tools assist with SEO optimization and content personalization, allowing you to reach your target audience quickly. Travel IONOS Theme
IONOS templates are easily customized and look great on smartphones
If you want to create a professional travel agency website without breaking the bank, IONOS is one of the cheapest options out there. While its template selection is small – just 30+ in all – its inexpensive plans have built-in practical features. They come with secure hosting, professional email addresses, custom domains, and more.

IONOS’ templates are attractive, modern, and can be easily customized to suit the specific branding and aesthetics of your travel agency. You simply choose a color scheme and then drag and drop pre-built elements, including text sections, CTA (call-to-action) buttons, and image or video galleries, onto your pages. You can also add a contact or newsletter signup form to engage with potential travelers.

If you’re on a tight budget, IONOS’ low-cost MyWebsite Now plans offer excellent value. I recommend starting with the most affordable Plus plan, which costs $1.00 per month when you sign up for a one-year term. This plan comes with a 1-year free domain, a website translator, a contact form, and an integrated booking tool. As you grow, you can upgrade to access advanced features, such as an SEO optimization tool and advanced analytics.

Features

  • Handy SEO tools. The free website checker analyzes your site’s SEO performance and offers tips to improve visibility and boost traffic. For more advanced features, such as help with sponsored advertising, you can upgrade to a Ranking Coach plan.
  • Dedicated support representative. You’ll receive personalized support from a dedicated consultant who will answer your questions, discuss your site’s performance, and provide strategies for success.
  • Legal and privacy policy templates. Your IONOS website comes with an optional built-in cookie policy to ensure GDPR compliance. This is useful if you work with an international clientele. You’ll also find a legal policy template you can customize to reflect your agency’s practices.
  • AI-powered text generation. This handy tool will generate text for headings, trip descriptions, and recommended destinations, saving you time and taking the work out of building your site.

Dream Homes Agency SITE123 Theme
Your SITE123 travel website will be easy to navigate on desktop, tablet, or mobile
When it comes to easy website building, SITE123 consistently comes out on top. Despite its simplicity, you’ll find that its travel and tourism templates include helpful features, allowing visitors to review trip images and itineraries, make reservations, and get in touch with any additional questions.

I was impressed by the variety of new tools SITE123 has added to its platform. You can now use AI technology to write website content, and there’s a basic CRM tool to manage business communication with your customers. SITE123 templates have always been mobile responsive, but the latest design tweaks make navigation even more intuitive on tablets and phones.

SITE123 is straightforward when it comes to pricing, offering a free plan and five paid plans. To quickly get your site online, go for SITE123’s free plan. But if you want a free custom domain, an online store for selling travel products, or a multilingual and multi-currency website with more storage and bandwidth, you’ll have to upgrade to the premium plan, which isn’t the cheapest.

Features

  • Multilingual websites. SITE123 will automatically translate your website into multiple languages, allowing visitors to view trip packages and itineraries in their preferred language.
  • Custom forms. You can design customized contact and booking forms to gather information specific to each client’s travel inquiry or trip reservation.
  • Build brand awareness. Powerful free tools include a digital business card maker, logo designer, and favicon design tool.
  • Landing page builder. This new feature helps you design a lead-generating landing page that matches your agency’s brand. Analytics tools allow you to monitor the performance of your landing page, including its conversion rate.

Webador Travelling Theme
Webador has several templates designed for travel and tourism websites
You won’t need tech-savvy skills or lots of time to build your website with Webador. Its intuitive interface, customizable templates, and WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor streamline the design process. Webador promises to help you build an attractive and fully functional travel agency site in 10 minutes or less – and it mostly succeeds.

But Webador’s not just about speed and ease. It pairs design simplicity with features that cater to travel agencies: a booking system, SEO tools, custom forms, and a rating widget. Add a slideshow, and you can use this simple builder to create an immersive experience for travelers that encourages them to commit.

Webador’s free plan is a good starting point, as it offers you unlimited pages and storage, free stock photos, and a blog function. Don’t expect fancy features and advanced customization, but you should be able to create a functional travel agency site without breaking the bank. I recommend going for the Lite plan because it provides a custom domain, which will help your site look more professional. Plus, it costs just $5.00 per month.

Features

  • Multimedia content. Webador allows you to integrate videos from YouTube and Vimeo, giving visitors a firsthand look at tours and travel destinations.
  • Social media widgets. If you’re growing a social media following, you can display feeds from platforms like Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, and Pinterest.
  • Third-party tools. While Webador doesn’t have an app store, you can use embeds to add features like live chat, follow-up surveys for travelers, marketing campaigns, and countdown timers and clocks for limited time promotions.
  • Interactive maps. If you offer bespoke tours, you can guide visitors by embedding maps with highlights to notable locations, tours, or landmarks.

7. Shopify: Best Builder for Selling Tours & Packages Online

Shopify's interior designer website template
Shopify’s templates come with built-in, powerful e-commerce functionalities
Shopify is a dedicated e-commerce platform with an intuitive interface that makes it easy to add and manage travel products. For instance, your agency can list products such as tour packages, travel merchandise, concert tickets, or event passes. You can also categorize these offerings, add detailed descriptions, set pricing, and manage inventory.

While Shopify doesn’t have many tailored solutions for travel agencies, I found its app marketplace to be very helpful. You get access to appointment booking and online reservation apps like BookThatApp that integrate with your Shopify website. With such apps, potential customers can book activities, schedule classes, rent products, or manage events directly through your site.

Shopify offers SEO tools to improve search engine rankings and attract more organic traffic. It also supports email marketing so that you can send automated emails and texts for reminders, confirmations, and rescheduling. That said, to access such features, you’ll need to opt for one of the paid plans, which start at $29.00 per month. As you can probably tell, Shopify’s plans are on the pricier side.

Features

  • Social media integration. With Shopify, travel agencies can integrate their website with various social media platforms. This allows you to easily share your products, travel inspiration, and promotions across social media channels like Facebook and Instagram.
  • 100+ payment gateways. Shopify supports over 100 payment gateways, making it easy for you to accommodate international clients who may prefer different payment methods.
  • Shopify POS. If your travel agency has a physical location, Shopify’s Point of Sale (POS) system is an excellent feature. Shopify POS allows you to manage in-person transactions, sync inventory between your online and offline agency business, and provide a seamless purchasing experience for walk-in customers.
  • Mobile app. With features like real-time order tracking, customer management, and inventory updates, the Shopify mobile app enables you to manage your business on the go.

Other Notable Website Builders for Travel Agencies

8. BigCommerce

BigCommerce's home furniture website template
BigCommerce’s visually appealing templates can bring your journeys to life
Not only does BigCommerce allow you to display prices in multiple currencies, but you’ll also be able to accept payments in over 100 currencies and have multilingual sites. This makes BigCommerce perfect if you run a large travel agency with a diverse international customer base.

I’m a fan of BigCommerce’s simple yet useful blogging feature, which lets you share travel tips, destination guides, and company updates with potential customers. BigCommerce also integrates with third-party point-of-sale (POS) systems, such as Square and Clover, allowing you to synchronize online and offline transactions. I’d have liked it if BigCommerce had travel-themed templates and more budget-friendly plans for smaller agencies.

9. WordPress.com

Wordpress Exmoor Theme
WordPress.com’s travel themes come with a blog you can use to build your brand
WordPress.com offers many travel-themed templates with visually appealing layouts and a range of extensive features. While you can add appointment booking with a form block, the range of third-party booking tools designed for travel companies is a standout feature.

What’s more, WordPress.com offers powerful content management features and SEO tools, making it a great platform for blogging. These tools include auto-generated sitemaps, customizable titles and descriptions, and site verification. WordPress.com offers a free plan, but just keep in mind that you may find its platform a bit difficult to navigate at first.

10. Weebly

Travellin Weebly Theme
Weebly’s travel themes offer stylish layouts ideal for your tourism-related business
Weebly is one of the best free options online for travel agencies. You’ll appreciate its easy-to-use SEO features and built-in payment processing from Square. It’s beginner-friendly and business-ready, allowing you to get your site online quickly without needing extra plugins.

However, its customization options can feel limited. Advanced design tweaks and unique layouts are more restricted than on some other platforms. Still, Weebly’s strong SEO tools and mobile-responsive design make it an excellent choice for growing your online travel business.

Choose the Right Website Builder for Your Travel Agency

All the website builders on this list provide editors that are easy to use and visually compelling templates. The most suitable builder for your agency will rely on your budget and the features you require.

On the other hand, Squarespace is ideal for travel sites with extraordinary visual appeal. It also offers excellent built-in social and marketing integrations.

FAQ

Which website builder is best for travel agencies?

This depends on your individual needs. That said, Wix is the best all-around builder for travel agents and vacation planners. It offers the largest selection of free templates tailored for the travel industry. Wix also provides excellent built-in features, a comprehensive booking and customer management system, and impressive business and marketing tools.

Can I create a travel agency website for free?

Wix, SITE123, and Webador all offer free plans, although in my opinion, Wix’s free plan is the most generous. These free plans include basic features and are great for evaluating a website builder. Still, you’ll likely want to upgrade to get a custom domain, remove branding, and access advanced features like payments and bookings.

How much does it cost to create a website for a travel agency?

The cost of your website will depend on the builder you choose and the features you need. IONOS website builder is a great low-cost option for smaller travel firms, while SITE123 will get you online fastest – and does it for free. That said, it’s hard to beat Squarespace when it comes to price and value.

What features should a travel agency website include?

A tour company or travel agency website should include detailed trip itineraries, eye-catching visuals, customer reviews, a booking and payment system, and your contact information. Above all, it should be easy to navigate and offer visitors a user-friendly experience. See our top recommended website builders, each tailored to different needs such as website size and feature set.

Wix has a 100-page limit, which sucks big time for trying to create a smooth travel blog/info site, which is why I am now looking for a new website builder for my travel website

Hi Jackie, thanks for the comment. Currently, Wix sites have a 100-page limit. However, dynamic pages are a handy solution to this limitation. The Wix Content Manager lets you create a collection (database) of all the content you want to display. Then, using dynamic pages, you can automatically display this content over 100's of different pages, each with the same design, but unique content. For example, if you want to create a site with travel reviews, instead of manually adding a page for each destination, you'll collect all your reviews in a collection. Since the collection is connected to a dynamic page, any content you add to the collection, is automatically displayed on the dynamic pages. To create a site with dynamic pages, you'll need to add the Content Manager to your site, create your collection and set up your dynamic pages. This may take a little bit of effort, but it will save you tons of time in the future when you need to add more content. We hope this helps! Good luck!
