Active Campaign Introduces Active Intelligence
Marketing automation platform ActiveCampaign launched Active Intelligence, a new user experience that integrates AI into various marketing functions for “bigger results.” It includes features such as AI agents, automations, a conversational workspace, and performance insights.
The platform offers end-to-end AI-first marketing orchestration. This new approach enables marketers to set goals and delegate the “busywork” to a “behind-the-scenes AI team,” which can build entire personalized, cross-channel campaigns based on the set goals. This AI team consists of the so-called AI Agents.
One example of an AI Agent is the AI Campaign Builder, which can create entire campaigns, including a subject line, preheader, layout, images, content, and call-to-action (CTA) with simple prompts. The AI Automation agent, on the other hand, can create personalized content and messaging tailored to specific contacts to maximize conversions.
With the AI Brand Kit, users can automatically incorporate their brand identity into every campaign for on-brand templates, images, and content. Predictive Sending is another standout AI agent that detects the best sending time for each contact based on previous engagements. For new contacts, this AI agent provides time recommendations based on data from similar audiences.
Active Intelligence also features the Suggested Segments agent, which offers data-backed recommendations on how to act on high-value customer segments.
ActiveCampaign user Amy Chinitz of Spark Joy New York, who was one of the first to test Active Intelligence, says it “has been one of the most transformative changes” in her career as a business owner.
“It’s not just about writing faster. It’s about having a partner in the creative process that understands my brand, adapts to my audience, and helps me scale without losing my identity,” she shared her experience, adding that incorporating Active Intelligence helped her triple her sales volume.
Following its recent acquisition of the WhatsApp automation platform Hilos, ActiveCampaign introduced new native WhatsApp capabilities for automated global messaging. The company also expanded its SMS features with AI to make it easier to launch and scale SMS campaigns. A conversational inbox is coming soon.
Recently, ActiveCampaign partnered with Wix on an integration that syncs data between the two platforms, enabling users to follow the customer journey from site interaction to marketing campaign responses.
